Columbia AP Calc

OK, I’m currently a junior taking honors precalc. I’m an OK math student - I have an A minus right now. I really want to attend Columbia - intended major is creative writing. At my school most people take AP Calc as a senior. But as yearbook editor I realized I don’t have time in my schedule to take AP Calc, only AP Stats. I plan on applying via Questbridge and I’m first generation, so I have a hook I guess, but will taking only Honors Precalc and AP Stats put me at a disadvantage (even if my major is creative writing)? Thanks!

It will probably hurt you… most people at Ivies have taken 5+ (even 10+) AP courses by the time they graduate (depending on how many their school offers).
