Does applying with financial aid affect your acceptance? I keep hearing that but lots of people I know disregard this notion as a myth.

@TrazCapDEV I live in Ann Arbor so if you want to know anything about UMich I could definitely answer your questions haha, I practically live on campus there.

@Pinguman123 From what I heard, even if they say financial aid is “need-blind”, it is only need-blind for domestic students. For international student, it is always need-aware. So if you are an international applicant and you applied for financial aid, your chance will likely be affected.
@Pinguman123 But I mean if you are super good, it won’t matter. They will happily pay you to go to their school no matter what.

You have to withdraw them @graceann. You DNA probably wait to see if you get into them but yes you have to eventually withdraw them
