everyone in my school is super smart and we’re in the media center and literally everyone is looking at stats and applying to like all top schools and I’m gonna throw up
I can see 24ish people applying to Columbia in my school…but no way to know which are early. also one year 2 people from my school got into Columbia and our school is small so I am praying rn
@969028 how do you know how many people are applying from your school? did you just ask them?
I’d say only about 10 people from my school apply to any Ivies at all

Not quite, international applicant pool is still extremely competitive.
Wow I’m so anxious. I’m trying to tell myself that there’s no way I’ll get in so then 1. If I don’t, I will expect it and 2. If I do, I will be very presently surprised

Guys, you know how you can see on the Common App whether or not your stuff has been downloaded? Well, my ED agreement has not been. What is it for you guys?
Does anyone know if the financial aid office has access/communicates with the admissions office? One of my parents sent in their taxes late and they asked specifically for additional information about the taxes (he needed to turn in his C-EZ form as well), so I’m wondering if they would ask me about them specifically if I was rejected?
They said today that they want to have all documents ready for everyone so that they can have the aid packages available when decisions come out, but a couple of days ago they said that if I got in I would find out a week or two after decisions came, so I don’t know what to think.
I may just be grasping at straws, but who knows.
Thoughts?
@IAmLying I don’t think that means anything and I don’t think anyone’s ED agreement has been downloaded (mine hasn’t either); Columbia wouldn’t mess up this close and hint at who’s getting in. Good luck!

ahh I see the parent agreement would make more sense bc mine is submitted but not downloaded. I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything!
