At first I was confident, then I kept looking at acceptance rates and yeah, here we are.
I really don’t know how I’m going to distract myself from thinking about this for the next 24 hours

@soph1112 I have two tests and an in-class essay tomorrow and I have no idea how I’m going to function.
A tad less than 24 hours now. So exhausted from practice+slept at 3 AM last night, I don’t even have the strength to be nervous right now. Good luck to everyone, and I wish to see all of your lovely faces next year. Life is always going to turn out alright no matter what. Columbia is not the be-all and end-all, and we’ll all be done with this tomorrow.
Hey future Columbians! I’m visiting from the Yale SCEA thread to wish all of you guys good luck! We receive our decisions on the 15th, so our thread isn’t as busy as yours yet. I spent my afternoon reading through your thread to calm my anxieties. I just want you to know that you’re some of the most accomplished high schoolers in the world and few are more deserving of an acceptance. No matter what, you will go on to have successful lives and make the world a better place. I hope you all get the decision you want tomorrow! 
My favorite quote is “everything happens for a reason.” So whatever tomorrow holds for each of us, it is meant with a greater purpose. We will all succeed and although we all want it to be at Columbia, we will succeed wherever we go.

I hate how much I am beginning to care about this decision. It’s pathetic. Just an hour ago, I checked my mail (snail mail lol) and there was a light blue letter sized envelope, and only I know how my heart flipped. I could wax poetic about my emotions right then. (It turned out to be an Eddie Bauer winter catalogue.)

Good luck guys! We all worked very hard for this, so we really do deserve it all! I hope I will see some of you next year at Columbia, if not then I want to wish you good luck at Columbia! I’m writing this now because I’ll probably be too sad tomorrow to say it but I really do mean it

good luck guys…im gonna pee my pants but i hope we all are happy tomorrow!!! i know if i get rejected or deferred seeing acceptances will make me angry and jealous and i probably won’t be able to congratulate each person immediately, but just know that we’ve all accomplished great things and we will continue to do so! im proud of those who will get good news tmrw and also proud of those who may get new they didnt want. but eitherways…i wish you all the best and i agree, “everything happens for a reason.”
I’m so appreciative and inspired by all of you. Seriously, if I had my way, we would all get accepted tomorrow and meet next year on campus. No matter what happens, be proud of what had brought you here and be hopeful for what the future still has in store!
