@dr0wning lmao, of course the math tutor is Chinese.

@TrazCapDEV he also tutored me in physics lmao
Hi Columbia! Representing UPenn here. I know you guys and girls are getting your decisions tomorrow at 6 and before results are out, I just want to tell you how amazing and talented you all are. All of you are strong, passionate, and determined and are all inspired to make great use of the Columbia education; however, whatever happens tomorrow, know that as much as Columbia would like to admit everyone, it’s just not possible. Just remember that you can all be successful and achieve your dreams. Best wishes xx
@dr0wning lol when I saw you spelled out his name I was like am I on the right forum, why am I seeing Chinese lmao
Has anyone/everyone ever had the chance to visit Columbia? How’d you like it? I loved my experience but I want to hear yours if you’re willing to share!
@TrazCapDEV lol i wonder what other forum would include a post about “lai laoshi” though… maybe if there was a chinese manga scanlation forum and lai laoshi was the name of a character in a manga. Otherwise… lmao I can’t even think of other alternatives
T minus 20 hours :!!
@PilotKhyle It was really good. My friend showed me around the school and we met up with another friend who works in the student ID office(or something like that? Dubious at best lol). Their dining hall seems awesome and has some pretty good options for a vegetarian like me. Dorm rooms are definitely on the smaller side, but I will make do. Columbia has been admitting tons of prep school kids, so I might get lucky. Really great experience overall.
in 20 hours ill either be disgustingly happy or sobbing
Howdy. Joining the thread. What up nerds
I’ve visited friends there a few times! It’s a gorgeous campus and I loved how it has a university vibe but it’s in the middle of the city. I went to Levain Bakery for cookies and they were amazing… 10/10 would recommend
@dr0wning
Either way I’ll be crying

@PilotKhyle Went for my OV middle of September and it was awesome. Stayed Saturday-Monday, slept in Carman, ate at the dining halls, went to a class, saw the Armonry, the outdoor track/football field, and fell in love with the city and the campus. Got lost on the subway with my host for a little bit but we found our way back lol. Overall a great experience and cant wait to spend the next four years at Columbia!
@cl938803 I was in NYC for almost a month this past summer and visited as well and absolutely loved the vibe of the campus and everything about it. I definitely had one of those “falling in love” with the school moments. I also went to Levain’s and I agree with you, a definite must eat. Their cookies are delicious!
God it’s 10 pm and I have not started studying for my stat test tomorrow. #prayformystatgrade2k15
@Jseesyou2 lmao true. But one is happy screaming crying and the other is ugly snotty crying in the bathroom.
@PilotKhyle I visited the campus before, but it was a really long time ago… 7 years ago, when my brother took his “college tour”. Now that I think about it, it was pretty useless since he ended up going to a UC… my sister and I only visited CA schools, I guess my parents learned their lessons. But I’d love to visit (or, hey, be a student there…)
