@soph1112 I’m in a similar situation…my public school is pretty good, but it’s not like we have anywhere near what a wealthier public school or a prep school would have
@manmusthaveacode 800- 1:54 and Mile- 4:24
Hoping for sub 1:52 and around 4:15 this upcomming season!
19.5 hours left! i’m so nervouse auhhhgghhg
@dr0wning I guess they just dont want people to develope bad study habits and not do their homework and study for tests since they are basically admitted. They dont want people to drop out or not graduate, that would ruin their graduation precentage, thus their prestige
feel screwed. The Parent ED agreement thing would make perfect sense. Why would they need to know if the parent agreed if they only need to reject them? It’s an office of what, 20 people, and in this month they have more things to worry about than whether a downloaded ED agreement shows something or not, even if they realized this. If no one’s parent ED agreement was downloaded, possibly it would be ok, but a few of them are. I suppose a confirmation would be the date that agreement was downloaded? Any people with that willing to share?
@freshblueberries I just checked mine, parent ED says submitted, not downloaded, and I got a likely letter. You are fine, Im guessing since it eas theough a third party page
I feel like we are worrying about trivial things. nobody got rejected bc they got an email or because their document wasn’t downloaded
@dr0wning LOLOL YEA HOW DO U REMEMBER ME LOL
It’s not really a because thing, just a signal. Thanks for that twix.
Is anyone else barely going to get sleep tonight because they’re so nervous omg
@dr0wning That was later :)) BUT then again I’m always quick to hunger ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@dorothylewes @dr0wning Even the Columbia Applicant community is a small world!
I hope that not getting a likely letter means you didn’t get in for sure
DOESNT MEAN*
@michigangirl2016 I don’t advocate OTC medication abuse… But if you have a cold, NyQuil will put ya out like a light switch.
OMG IM SO SCARED I CANT EVEN TYPE

@BrynMawr61 Likely Letters go out to VERY few accepted students

@BrynMawr61 Likley letters only go to athletes in the ED round, which is the ivy version of signing a National Letter of Intent. They only go out to the few hundred*(not sure on the number) of athletes thay have coaches support, each coach only has a certian amount of likely letters they can use. Not getting one is perfectly fine, and has no hinderance on you getting in!
