Didn’t know that was their building … wow…
Admission is in the basement of the building. Most of the rest of the floors are classrooms.
I wonder if they are regretting some of their past years admissions decisions, kwim?
Do they also let WL students know if they won’t be offered a spot or do they leave them on the waitlist indefinitely?
They usually eventually let everyone know but it may be a while before they do.
There’s one person ik that got off the waitlist. He’s from nyc and is full pay. I heard they prioritize those from new york and full pay but I can’t confirm if that’s true or not.
Columbia WL has NOT started moving yet.
Yes even I was waiting for the 15th onward then Someone in the Columbia waitlist chat said they got off and were updated via their portal. (this was on Saturday)
Unlikely…Lots of fake posters here…just stirring things up.
How can you tell that the WL has not moved?
did they say if they are starting to move things this week? (Wed is May 15)
Looks like there is some movement see collegeconfidential.com/t/columbia-waitlist-class-of-2028-thread
Anyone seen any movement today?
Not here …
Same! Maybe next week!! lol
I want my D24 to be happy with her other options but waiting for this is holding her back. Hopefully it will be over soon. Good luck to you!!
It has before the 15th - I got off the waitlist on May 11 (got an email w applicant portal update). Im an intl student, full pay - SEAS chemical engineering major. Was originally accepted to Brown thru regular, waitlisted at MIT (deferred from early) and Stanford as chem engineering major - I committed to Columbia and finished the housing/dining options!!!
Has anyone here on the waitlist heard anything?
Does anyone know if it’s true that: Columbia pushed back its accepted student commitment and deposit date from 1st May to 1st June due to the delays in FAFSA. Someone on the waitlist chat shared this…
Just checking if anyone knows or has visibility on this?
