Since there wasn’t any thread for this year so I made one. I have just finished submitting all my documents, including LOR. Are there any other priority early-action applicants here?

I sent in my application the day it came out Dec 1 and got all my LOR and everything else within that week. Spent all summer on my essay. I’m praying for March 1st 5 pm to come quicker

You submitted super early wow, good luck to both of us. May I ask what your stats are? I am an international student and currently in my 2nd semester at a state school, 4.0 GPA but I got a low HS GPA and I hope my experience in army could help.
I am also a Priority Early Action applicant. The wait is driving me crazy…just gotta distract myself until March 1st:((

Same here… I’m literally checking the portal for no reason just to see if it changes from “submitted” to things like under review
Literally. I called them though, gave my application id number, and they said it was under review

My gpa is 3.87, majoring in CS. I attend a local nyc community college. I’m also a foreign combat soldier veteran. I’m in phi theta kappa, honors club and transfer scholar network student. I am a full time student putting myself thru college myself with a full time job. We just gotta keep high hopes and be positive! I’m guessing Columbia is both our dream schools haha

Nice, now it’s just a month and a half of waiting and keeping up our grades.
I feel like as time goes on I get more and more insecure about my application just bc it’s lurking in the back of my mind at all times 
That’s me… especially after rereading my essay, I found two minor grammar errors. 
That should be ok though!
We have to wait for like six more weeks. Does your status still say “Submitted”?
Yeah, it’s driving me insane. I think they send an email when your application moves to “review”, which, according to the forums from the previous years, happens on or near Feb.10th.

oh I didn’t know that. I keep checking the portal hoping a decision will magically appear, lol
I just received an email saying “ Thank you for submitting your application for admission to Columbia University School of General Studies! You may track…” I submitted my application on Jan 14th including every other material and is this like a confirmation email? And also my status hasn”t changed, it still says “submitted.”
