affect the admission status if I didn’t pass it?

is there a discord or group for incoming gs students for this year?
They have like a ZeeWee group that you can scan on the homepage.
were they generous with aid? did they meet your need? I’m 21 have applied to Columbia college, they just emailed me about GS and from what I read on internet they dont give lots of aid is it true?
I’m international
Hi!
I’m also international, bio major.
Hope we get in!
From what I know, they evaluate aid based on academic performance.
I don’t know about cc but as for GS, they explained that aid application would not impact decision and average aid is around $42,000.
Same!!
Bio major. But I think I’ll choose biochem probably for premed
Do you use reddit? Can I dm?
I’m not sure how to take ALP exam. Where can I find the link to register for it?
Congratulations to all who got in for this fall!
My son also got in as well. However in the acceptance letter, it does not show the major that he applied for. Checking the Columbia GS website, it shows that the student has to declare the major for graduation. Does this mean that he can change the major different from the one that he applied for and can declare a major after accruing the necessary credits after he enrolls?
Thanks!
Congrats! My GPA is similar praying I get accepted too!
if you attended the gs zoom that they regularly have they discussed this. You don’t declare your major the first semester from what I remember, you declare it once you meet with your academic advisor and discuss it with them, something along those lines.
Thank you very much for detailed answer. I shall also check at gs zoom!
Just committed and submitted my enrollment deposit. See yall in the Fall!
Edit: Housing applications open on March 15th so definitely mark that date down on your calendars
Hi! I was wondering when would result come out?
I submitted application in Feb 17 (all materials including essay, references, were received).
CUID came out Feb 28 (In other email from financial aid department, they also included my CUID which was Feb 24)
I asked the admissions team when would result come out but they told me around 6-8 weeks from the day I submitted application.
I was wondering if result could come out anytime soon, before March ends, or early April,
Or I should wait until May 1st like eveyone else who submitted in March 1st?
Is there any way that I can estimate my current process regarding the admission?
Thanks!
Usually around mid to late April for early action applicants, but there are no set dates, good luck!
