Hi everyone, has anyone applied for financial aid as an international student? I’m applying for regular decision, and the deadline for that is May 15th. I was wondering if we can apply for financial aid now along with the application or if it needs to be done after we are admitted. I don’t want to miss anything. Thanks for your help in advance
I’m an international, have not received my decision yet, but I will be applying for aid after being admitted. Hopefully it doesn’t hurt chances as gs claim they are needblind.
I read the thread for 2022 and there was an applicant that got the same request as you and they got in. Definitely a good early sign!

Hi Everyone,
I applied early action. Previous to my application I was receiving emails practically daily. I even received a hand signed letter in the mail from The Dean of Admissions asking me to apply. However, after my application, I haven’t received a single email. I’ve heard from some people this could be a bad sign. I’ve also heard from some that it could mean nothing. Can anyone confirm if they have received any emails or outreach after their submission and if I should be worried.

I did not receive any emails or mails after my submission as well. I was hoping to get a phone interview but they said they wont be contacting applicants for interviews(?). Im pretty worried about their lack of communication with me, but we won’t know until the day of.
It doesn’t mean much, they are still processing your application.

Interviews can be random, and they are mostly conducted to clarify some things with you, you don’t have to worry. I did not receive anything but an email from the dean of admissions requesting my spring grades.

I received email from financial aid office, they said submitting CSS profile means applying for aid ,simple.
Hoping it comes out in a minute…

Look up CSSprofile at collegeboard and you need to fill out all of your information and add whatever schools you’re applying to
