Columbia (GS) vs Cornell (CALS) ???

What are your opinions on which is better for academics, prestige, social life, research opportunities, internships, campus, networking and to get a work after graduation?

I am planning to apply as a transfer and I am more specifically interested in Politics, Sustainable Development and Development Sociology.

Also I am 21 almost 22 and have at least 30 credits left to complete an A.S (if I do not transfer before), am I considered to be a non traditional student?

Thanks you!

If I’m not mistaken, Columbia General Studies is an extension school (or night school or whatever you wish to call it) for individuals who are non-traditional and cannot be students full time. It is not the same as Columbia College, which is the regular undergraduate liberal arts college at the university. Which are you interested in?

You are slightly old to be a junior, but I wouldn’t say you’re nontraditional. I think you’d need to be at least 24 or 25.
