Does anyone know what it means when it says admission at gs is ‘on a rolling basis’?
Also, how long does it take for admission office to notify an admission application that was submitted ‘on a rolling basis’?

Is anyone here currently at GS?
How is GS for international students who are still relatively young (20)?
And what’s the eligibility for applying to GS?
I heard it’s just at least one gap year after high school and/or students wanting a part- time studies.

A rolling basis means basicaslly the sooner you turn in your application the sooner you will hear. I’m not sure if its the same as a first come first serve basis but I’m pretty sure of the former. Sorry I cannot really answer your other questions about GS since I’m not in the school.

From my experience, there are a great deal of international students in GS. If you are able to address the financial situation, then the next determination is what program you are interested in majoring in. If you are interested in something that is more ‘applied’ such as Business, Engineering, or want a very concentrated curriculum, it may not suit you. As an example, the music, theater and visual arts GS majors are all very broad in scope and do not seem to follow a ‘conservatory’ style. I suggest looking into several other schools as well, and determining what your best option is.

The eligibility as detailed in the GS application and admissions materials is indeed for someone with at least a year break in education or someone who has a compelling reason to attend part-time. I would really recommend examining the information on various university websites instead of trying to ‘hear’ things or figure them out from forums.

thanks guys
yeh ive had a few looks at websites but i also wanted to get a personal scope of things. sometimes what’s on the website is v.different to what actual students at the school have to say.
what other unis similar to gs would u recommend me looking into?
