Columbia Interview Process Questions

Hello,

I am an International student applying to Columbia University and have been researching/preparing for the interview process. Do you have any advice specifically relating to the interview, common questions that may be asked or how a student can distinguish themselves from other applicants? :)

Thank you kind sirs

You forgot all the ‘madams’ here :(

It’s basically a talk. It’s casual. Be yourself and be honest. Interviews aren’t a place to ‘distinguish’ yourself, in my opinion.

I agree with Tizil7. I just had a phone interview the other day and it was very casual. The interviewer was simply just trying to “match my personality with my application.” Be honest and able to elaborate on anything you say.
