I’m currently a gr.12 student in Toronto and although i’m an exceptional student over here, I think it’s too late for me to get into an ivy league for my undergrad. But I heard from some people that if you are a minority you have a greater chance of getting accepted, is this true?I’m Tibetan and my personal goal is to work in New York as an Investment Banker and have been very interested in Columbia for my MBA. I don’t have too much knowledge about the application process for graduate studies in the states. Any advice(EC’s, work experience) on getting accepted would be appreciated.
P.S
for my undergraduate I applied to:(don’t know if you heard of them as they are in Canada)
Schulich
UofT St.George Commerce
Queens Commerce
UofT Scarborough BBA co-op
I haven’t decided where I would go and woould like to here some opinions on these schools.
