Anybody has experience with this? How useful was it? Is it hard to get in? What are some events that members participate in? How heavily must one commit to this (as in number of hours a week)?

Any comments/general info welcome.

(I got a CubMail about the CMI. Anyone else got it? Anyone planning to join?)

Yeah, I got the email too. I probably won’t join it because there’ll be so many other things to do on campus, and CMI sounds only remotely interesting to me. I’d rather commit my time to a few things that I’m really into rather than be a kid that joins a ton of clubs just for the sake of joining clubs and have no real passion.

However, I don’t really know too much about it other than what’s on their site, so who knows, I may join if it sounds interesting enough.

To be honest it doesn’t sound that interesting to me either. I kind of want to know how “beneficial” it is.

I think it was started (or revamped or something) last year. I don’t know anyone who has done it yet.

you’re gonna get cubmail messages about a lot of stuff. people like sending out mass emails. takes a few months before you realize most of it’s crap.

^ha I know. It’s just that this CMI stuff seems remotely interesting. So I thought I’d ask for advice here.
