i’ve been a silent spectator in these threads so far but got accepted into reims!
I’ve been accepted to Le Havre. Any current students with some insight on the program?
Hi everyone!
Big congrats to everyone who got good news today–we couldn’t be more excited to have you! You should have received or will soon be receiving information about an admitted students event on campus (Columbia, not SciencesPo) later this month. While it is absolutely not mandatory, if you are able to make it, it’s a wonderful event. So much fun and very informative. And you’ll have the chance to meet your new classmates as well as upperclassmen in the program!
And to those of you who did not get the news they were hoping for, I want to extend a few words of comfort and encourage you to not be too hard on yourselves. The college process is tough and decisions are by no means a statement on who you are as a person. It’s hard but important to keep that in mind during times like these. Making it to the interview phrase of the application process was very competitive this year and an indication of an impressive file.
To respond to @blackhairedgirl’s question, if you were waitlisted, I strongly recommend that you reach out to admissions with an email expressing your desire to enroll in the program and perhaps an update as to what you’ve been up to this semester. I would recommend giving yourself a few days to think about what you want to write and then sending them a message sometime in early April.
And @evj4748, I am a current student who works with the admissions office to monitor this thread. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or send this account a DM and I’ll get back to you! Ask me anything from academics to visa logistics to social life–we’ve got you covered on all things Dual BA!
Congrats again and as always, please keep posting your questions!
@GSTourGuides since I’m in NYC for the admitted students day, is there anything you recommend me to do, see, or eat anything around NYC?
accepted to reims and excited to meet you all!
My daughter asked me to find out how she can join the group me or FB for accepted students. Any one know?
I would like to add my daughter to the facebook group for Reims admits. So happy for you all, big congrats!!

@GSTourGuides Around how many students are admitted to each campus?
hi everyone! I’ve been trying to find the link to the Facebook group for a while, but I have no clue where/what it is. any insights?
EDIT: I finally figured out where it is! enter onto the usual admissions portal, and under the link to the status update, there should be a link to the admitted students portal. when you get onto that portal, there is another link to the Facebook group. hope that’s helpful!
Hi @ParkJiSung777,
Feel free to shoot this account a DM for suggestions for your time in New York!
Hey I don’t know how to DM but I will Ben visiting Columbia in two days and my admit student page isn’t working and I emailed them but they didn’t respond, what do I do?
Any Le Havre accepted students on this thread??
@Teeetwoone About 25 students are offered spots each at Le Havre and Menton and another 50 at Reims, though these numbers vary a bit by year.
@migratingcoconut I recommend calling the School of General Studies at (212) 854-2772 or (800) 895-1169 (if you’re calling from abroad please dial +1 before the number) first thing in the morning tomorrow. You can also go to the Visitors Center in Low Library between 9 and 5 for general information about visiting Columbia’s main campus in Morningside Heights.
How many people applied this year?
@GSTourGuides Is there a reason as to why I can’t see the financial aid I got? There’s no mention of it in my acceptance letter…
