Columbia stereotype?

I use stereotype for lack of a better word.

What is the commonly accepted stereotype of Columbia students/university?

For example, Yale is known as the fun, gay, and liberal Ivy. Harvard is considered to be the sociopath Ivy. Dartmouth is scene as the super fratty/ preppy Ivy.

So what is Columbia seen as??

Columbia is ‘seen’ as the Ivy that requires its students to be able to differentiate between homophones…

Grammar issues aside, Columbia prides itself on diversity, so I doubt a generalization of all students could possibly be very accurate.

Personally, I think there’s no stereotype for any of the Ivy’s beyond what the universities’ own marketing departments make up. I’m sure you’d be well served if you sent a nice email to Columbia University’s marketing/advertisement arm.

I don’t see Yale as the fun, liberal, gay Ivy…AT ALL.

I thought Brown was the fun and liberal Ivy lol

So obviously stereotypes have no bearing.

…

…(cough)

its ridiculous
