To any accepted Columbia University CC students (even if you turned down Columbia). Doesn’t matter if you’re class of 2017 or older

-As a reference for us prospective students
thanks

Wait a month or so for the 2017 RD decision posts that will come up. People will give you more than just GPA and SAT score to reference. I think there’s an ED thread somewhere as well for 2017. There’s definitely a 2016 RD thread too and that’s just as informative. I encourage you to look at things outside of GPA and SAT score however. Sure you need high scores to be looked at for any top school, but admissions is also looking for a well rounded active person who doesn’t study all day.

The avg HS GPA and SAT scores for accepted Columbia students is just like the next three deciles of rejected students.

So what relevance can you tease out of that set of stats?

And you’re requesting individual stats? Your research methodology leaves much to be desired. At least go for larger sample pools like Wendeli suggests.

I get that you’re just straining to get any insight on your ultimate chances. Understood. But you should frankly spend less time the CC “chance me” forum (it looks like you live there) and more time on your own life, community and academics. It’ll do you much better than the virtual hand-holding you seek on this site.

You’ll be a much more happy and fulfilled person w/o this CC stuff. Really. Top college? Been there , done that. Your life won’t be dictated by the school that confers your eventual degree if you make something of your life today and for every day following. Stop being a worry wort.

^Haha!! Anyway, this should give you a fair idea:

For more info, as Wendeli suggested, check out the 2017 ED & 2016 RD result threads on CC.
