Columbia Supplement - Is it too Risky?

"List the titles of the films, concerts, shows, exhibits, lectures and other entertainments you enjoyed most in the past year. "
I’m finishing up the supplements for Columbia and this one is particularly hard for me to write. This is because I live in the middle of nowhere and have to drive an hour to even get to a McDonalds. So I wanted to be brutally honest and put this.

“Sully, Saturday Night Live, and I really wish I could list more but I live in rural Montana and the most exciting event that happens is when the local grocery store has a new product.”

Is this too risky? Should I come up with a safer answer even though it isn’t the truth?

No, I would tell the truth but maybe you can stretch it to a few years and explain why you’re doing that (if that helps to add any activities.)

Handling this in the way you suggest would make you even more interesting to adcom. However, adcoms are interested in what you do with what IS available. So, favorite books, internet entertainments, rural entertainments like cow tipping? You can end with, “can’t you see why I want to move to New York City?”
