I didn’t, but I hope they at least took some folks from waitlist given how long they had us wait
I hate it that they did the same thing as Harvard. I hope you all do well at whatever institution you are transferring to. Best of luck!
what’d harvard do?
Didn’t get off. That sucks
I don’t know personally, but my guess is that they kept an extensive waitlist for a long time, but didn’t actually intend to accept anyone from it since it seems that Columbia did that just now
I hope this is incorrect and they actually did take some from extended waitlist^ but I’m not holding my breath
didn’t get off either it was a fun ride guys haha
Finally, my son got rejected from the extended waitlist. He is heading to UMich. Go Blue!
I didn’t get off the waitlist either.
I did not get off the waitlist.
I did not get off the waitlist either. I wish everyone well. I hope some of you got off the list. Best of luck to everyone. If anyone will be in Chicago this year, let me know. We can grab some deep dish or Italian been and laugh about the Columbia waitlist.
Are chances of acceptance higher if a waitlistee reapplies as a First-Year after a gap year or as a transfer?
Do you really want to reapply after this circus?? Perhaps its just my opinion, but I don’t see why one would want to reapply after they so clearly took advantage of the hopes of waitlisted applicants as an insurance policy until they received tuition $ from their current students
Did not get off either. Disappointed to see that no one here did either. 3 months of additional waiting for nothing. That’s rough. Regardless, I appreciate your insight and optimism throughout all of this and I wish you all the best!
