i have a calc quiz tomorrow and an anatomy test early next week…i dont know how im gonna focus for this next week leading up to decisions :((
Does anyone else have this message on their financial aid status page: “Please forward any missing tax-related documentation directly to Columbia via the IDOC service. You may either upload documents electronically or mail to IDOC. If you mail hard copies to IDOC, print a cover sheet by logging into the IDOC service at http://idoc.collegeboard.com.”
@1984ad What are you doing in calc?
Just watched the season finale of Broad City. AH! It was amazing (as usual) and such a sweet episode. If anyone is looking for something to take their mind off of the wait, I HIGHLY recommend Broad City (it takes place in NYC).
@AcademiaSavvy integrals and u-subs and stuff lol
@1984ad I took calc last year and I started out loving it but then it got much harder…in end I really enjoyed the class though!!
@swimv1017 haha i think its an okay class at the moment; i think physics 1 was way harder for me
@1984ad yay–not. Although, I must say that u substitution is my favorite method!
@stressedibstudent i’m an international IB student! i want to major in film and submitted the film portfolio but tbh our group’s film was still kinda in progress so i don’t know how it’ll affect my application but i hope my resume was good
how do you guys plan to open decisions? i was thinking that it would be best if i were alone in my room when it happened lol
and idk if i’m gonna open exactly when decisions are released lol, i might lurk on this thread for a couple minutes or something before opening. but who knows haha ill probably be so nervous that i’ll just speed click my way into the decision lol
my whole fam is making me wait to open it with them which is gonna be super uncomfortable
@1984ad Same, I really struggled with physics 1 last year so I decided against physics c this year.
I plan to open my decision alone in my room and then tell my parents who will be waiting downstairs. This is a moment I want to experience by myself first no matter the outcome
I told my parents it comes out on the 20th so I have a few days to cope and figure out how to tell them either way.
Heyy!
I am so worried about my SAT scores(1470), I am from India and live in a rural area. Will they take that into consideration as well?
P.s. I have a perfect GPA, but will that be enough?
Anybody check the Application Statues?? Mine becomes empty… so nervous and can’t focus on RD essay right now
I’m checking it alone in my room, but I want to know right away. I told my parents it comes out on the 15th
@1984ad You will do fine on your exams–sending good vibes your way!
I go to school abroad and I’m going home on the 14th. I really don’t want to be at school when I find out it’s so nerve wracking
I have been dreaming a lot of getting into Columbia the last two weeks… Has anyone else been dreaming??
@dogoogii don’t worry you’re not the only
One haha, I keep playing the scene in my head of if I got in and what I would do. It would be like such a dream come true but I know not to get my hopes up
