How do you know you got all 8 correct? I answered 12, was working on 15 but didn’t finish on time
Hey, I just took the test as well. This is how I think I did:
Math: 44-46/50 (Easy, but I screwed up some graphs)
Science: 50-55/75 (I really sucked at this section because I’m a freshman and I only know Chemistry)
Challenge: 9-11/15 (I attempted 12 and I know I got at least one wrong)
Same. I literally just needed to simplify something for question fifteen but then the proctor called time.
EZ Math: 50/50 100% confident I checked twice.
Science: 65-70/75 (I’m a freshman and we haven’t learned physics or chem yet but i studied at home)
Hard Math: 11 right (3 blank, one wrong) (Apparently u have to get 10+ to get in so I am barely passing. I swear tho if we had like 5 more minutes I could have finished two more, bad time management idk)
What are my chances? I’m really scared  lol
I think you’re probably fine- especially since you’re a freshman and you have the best curve. I’ve heard that the challenge section counts the most, that it’s expected everyone will do very well on the easy math section. Don’t know about science, but that was my weakest subject by far.
i wonder whats the point of the ez math section? wouldnt the challenge section be enough @Bellicosi
What was the answer for number three on challenge?
Maybe they want to test your general knowledge of concepts? Idk… it’s just that from what I’ve heard doing well on the easy math section doesn’t really count for much
Also, does anyone know when they send out acceptances? In the past apparently it’s like June or so
June 19th
I fell asleep during the easy math lol
I think I got 40/50 easy
55/75 sci
14/15 challenge (for some reason those ones were easy for me and I left one blank even though I circled the right answer on the paper)
3 the one about the coins? 15.
2.73 dollars → 273 cents. set that equal to xp + xn + xd + xq + xh (x pennies, x nickels, x dimes, x quarters, x half dollars). factor out x, divide both sides by x.
273/x = p + n + d + q + h
1 + 5 + 10 + 25 + 50 = 91
x must equal 3. 3 x 5 is 15 coins in total.
for num 15, did anyone else get 3/13 as their answer?
i checked denom 7.5 and it works, 1.5/7.5 = 1/5 and 2.5/7.5 = 1/3
just simplified it and calculated percentage which was around ~23%
Weren’t the answer choices like 24% and 25%?
I had no idea how to do that one
it was 25
scores
easy math
50/50
science
65-70/75 (guessed all but two welp penalty points)
hard math
13/15
sillied the tangent circle and ages question welp rip
chances?
What was the one about rate and a and r?
Which grades are you guys all in?
easy math or hard math section?
You’ll prolly make it @lol0522 I heard that the challenge math section is weighted more/most important.
I think I got like a 49/50 (got rlly pressed for time at the end) on the easy math
65/70-75 for science (this section was actually worse than I thought it would be)
13/15 for the hard math
All in all it wasn’t as bad as I thought espeacially the hard math section. I just wished I studied more physics and in general for the science section. Now we just have to wait till June rip ;-;
hard math
