I wonder if taking extra time means that they’re looking at grades/recs/essays more than usual? They might because the online exam this year had less questions and thus less differentiation between applicants. Just a thought…
I think that’s likely actually because otherwise they could just rank us by test scores and then accept the top 400 with a little variation, which doesn’t take too long. It makes sense for them to do that I personally think because while I’m not sure how canvas’ cheating system works, I’m sure they know cheating is possible
oof this is so rough. my teacher rec was rlly good bc my frosh year bio teacher looooved me but i think my personal essay sounded rlly cocky. my transcript should be fine but i uploaded it kinda late bc u could still do it. honestly it could go 50/50 for me
I think your essay should be fine bc unlike college applications you really don’t get to show off your accomplishments anywhere else besides the essay. So, you probs have to brag a little bit.
yeah i heard that delaying admission decisions is normal for this program so try not to overthink it haha
