no clue. havent gotten any updates since the acceptance
Any idea how we pick the courses?
Who is thinking of doing some biology-related course? I’m thinking of doing something like that. I should probably look up the exact course selection though. Also who is ready to lose their entire Saturdays to their computer screens? I know I am
Have you guys gotten any updates yet? just making sure i’m not missing anything
No idea. no communication so far.
Hello people So im in 8th grade for now but wanted to get a head start for the program i know 1 and 2 d kinematics ( like SUVAT stuff idk if thats too basic) and circular motion and collisions and rn im learning alg 2 and in chem i know stoich, gas laws, chem reaction stuff and bio i know a bit of genetics but not much and 0 earth sci is there anything i should do to like prep since I have a bunch of time I was thinking to do Giancolli,Zhumdhal,Campbell and yt vids for earth sci and than just do a bunch of regents exams and for math i was thinking of just prepping with AMC 10 stuff. Do you guys think its a good idea for students already in the program
Hi @ADITYAEMPIRE or anyone who got in previously, I’m applying this yr and I’m wondering if anyone who got in last year could help me. If so, send me a message at @elizzayang on Instagram! I would really appreciate any advice!!
Same I would also really appreciate advice. @iamwilltang on Instagram! btw followed u Eliza.
hey! i’m in the program and applied and got in my freshman year; i’d say regents stuff is pretty comprehensive for the science section. i remember a lot of the exam being biochem, with only a little on earth science and physics, and if you plan to apply your freshman year, remember that they don’t expect you to have taken everything yet. the easy math section is super basic so i didn’t study for that, and the hard math (which i’ve heard is the main factor in admission) is definitely like the amc 10. i qualified for aime so i didn’t honestly study much for the hard math, but i did do a few past amc tests and literally saw one of the problems i practiced on the test itself lol. hope this helps
hey i’m a freshman! i’ve only taken bio and geo (this year) and algebra 1 and a little chem/phys (super basic, in middle school). do you think this is too out of reach for me? i can study but i’m just worried about the math sections because algebra isn’t my strong suit and i haven’t learned trig yet.
hi I’m also a freshman and I’ve only taken algebra 1, geometry (this year), some earth science last year and biology (this year). I really need some study tips and what subjects I should focus on studying the most I’m very scared and ik that there is a curve for freshman but I don’t know a lot of info and really want to get in. So please someone who has already taken it let me know what I should be studying. Thanks!
hey we’re in the same boat lmao. good luck, I really hope there’s a curve for freshman haha
For the people applying this year maybe we should make a discord server to help each other out? I’m a sophomore
sure sounds good
good luck to everyone applying!!
reply with your discord I’ll invite you to a server where there’s people applying for the program this year, or you can add me at vivi#3255
