I want to apply to the Columbia SHP next year and I saw that some people posted discord links earlier in the thread but they’re currently invalid.
I would like to join the discord server if there still is one and I am wondering I anyone has the link to the discord server. If anyone does, I would be grateful if they could send it :).
Hi there! Honestly, as a current student in the SHP I don’t think there’s any point in joining the server. No one there is really going to be able to help you out- they’re probably just as clueless as to how they got in. Also, if it’s any consolation, the loud minority of the kids in that server are overly snarky and full of themselves anyways and I doubt they’d be willing to help you much haha. I would recommend doing a lot of Math Olympiad type questions to brush up, but otherwise I really wouldn’t sweat the test too much- they factor in the classes you’ve taken in, for example, so don’t expect to be heavily penalized if you get a few physics questions wrong as a freshman for instance. I was looking at the SHP website and it looks like they haven’t updated it in quite some time, as the application info is still from last year. Any idea when they will release the application info for the 2023-24 school year?

did the results come out for anyone yet??? the website says it will come out by august 1st but i got nothing so far

They just sent an email it was postponed 1 week. Results next 7 days from now
