Columbia University Science Honors Program ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

864, I am fairly certain, was cube with surface area in square inches equaling volume in cubic feet. Pi was the y = |x| and y^2 + x^2 = 4 area.

Crap, I don’t think I realized there were different units for that cube question…

i thought it was 6 for the cube

wait, didn’t that question say cube surface area ask what the side length was?

OOOOOOHHH wow didnt realize there was diff units :(

ummmmm wasnt the one with surface area times 6 =volume

awnser 6 ???

@daniel6738: I got 6 also, but where there different units for the cube or something?

omg… were there diff units i honestly cannot remember

I don’t remember different units…

No, it was definitely in different units. I remember cause I couldn’t get that one x_x

i got 6…i dont think there were diff units…

Sorry, my answers are out of order, just remembered that a/6 feet thing (answer in yards) problem, which I think was number 3?

Anyone else remember for sure? I usually don’t miss details like that. Hm…

I don’t remember, but for other answers:
16/3
.08
3 are false

@e2thepieye: I got 10a/r for that one.

Wait, that a/6 one was asking for it in yards? uh… crap.

Yeah, creampuffer I got that too.

I also got 10a/r as well as y^3/x^2

Yeah the distance question was asked in feet to yards. But I don’t remember any units for that cube surface area/volume question. I even asked my friend after the test and he said 6. Interesting.

poops…i kept it in feet :(
