But yes regularly around 50 students are accepted off of the waitlist each year. I heard they use the waitlist to control the exact number of students because they have to ensure on-campus housing to everyone and don’t want to overadmit.

As all the LOCI’s are due today and other schools are pulling from waitlists, has anyone heard if Columbia may start soon? I saw from last year’s thread they always pull on Friday… wondering if they may start tomorrow
I saw on Reddit that someone got off the Brown waitlist recently, so maybe in a few days/weeks we might see early movement especially if a lot of people have chosen to defer/decline admission. This is making me nervous ahhh
