Columbia University

Do I have to take GRE to apply to Columbia University (major Russian studies)

Yes, you do. The information is on the website: http://gsas.columbia.edu/content/academic-programs/russia-eurasia-and-east-europe-regional-studies

@minminminmin I am sure you have already figured this out but as I understand it you are applying for undergraduate school – that link is for Graduate school I think you are getting ahead of yourself. So not you don’t need the GRE quite yet.

Well, she posted in the Graduate School forum, so I actually assumed that she was applying for graduate school. But perusing her other posts, it does appear that she’s in the middle of the undergrad application process.

So no, you do not need to take the GRE for admission to Columbia’s undergraduate division (which would be Columbia College, if you want to major in Russian Language and Culture or Russian Literature and Culture). You’d only need to take it if you want to get an MA in Russian, Eurasia, and Eastern Europe Regional Studies, once you have a bachelor’s.

oh, I’m sorry)) I posted it in wrong forum…
