What is there to ask? Are they still admitting? Obviously. Columbia stops admitting when the waitlist closes and they send a letter when it does. There is truly nothing to ask tbh. Just wait till u get a status update, sooner or later it’ll happen whether its a rejection or an acceptance.

Do you think Columbia is taking less off the waitlist this year? It’s about to be June and they only accepted a couple.

It is just odd - you think they would have needed more with all that was going on and reports of people turning them down. Maybe they are trying not to look the desperate Ivy?
My D24 has a free COA deal as a scholar at a good university. I think she is over waiting. Graduated this weekend and is wearing her sweatshirt! Plus $400k vs $0 is hard to justify even for Columbia. I will keep my eye out for her but glad she is getting excited about what she has.

That’s good to hear. Honestly, Columbia’s loss. I think Columbia is probably running behind or is either done at this point. We will probably find out soon if they are finished.

I wonder how many got off the waitlist. We are only a subset of folks. June 6 they told everyone it was over last year- one more week and then I will stop looking.

It was June 12th last year. But yea just one more week and it will probably be over. If they are still taking people off from NYC then I’m assuming not many. Usually the first people they pick are from NYC, so they probably haven’t taken many off which is odd.
So do you think that they will admit more kids or not? Do correct me, but I think they finished CEAS and they moved on to CC. Also, do you think that the cutoff date will be pushed back?

Yes, someone of a NYC got off the waiting list on Wednesday. It is definitely from Columbia college, as that lucky person is someone pursuing humanity majors.
