I saw Brown admitted someone off their list last night.

Where did this data come from? With the exception of 2 year, Columbia doesn’t publish a CDS, and they stopped that a year ago (so not including last year’s class). They only did it after the US News scandal and stopped as soon as they decided to not cooperate with the ranking go-forward.
Online from various people who compiled info on forums. Not official - sorry if I sounded official
So no one heard anything tonight? I thought maybe since they said officially start May 15

Yeah but they usually release waves on Fridays so most likely this Friday

Called the admissions office yesterday. They said they had not taken anyone off the waitlist so far. They said they will begin now going forward. They said to check for emails (I would still check the portal as well)
Didn’t push them for specifics on what day or number or spots etc. This was the info from them. Finger crossed now

Wouldn’t this information also be for SEAS? There is only one undergraduate admissions office/committee. Please let me know if I am mistaken.
people said they were getting off the SEAS waitlist already, so if they are truthful…
I see your point but the first person to say they got off in this thread was an anthropology major which would be CC. Either way, though, there haven’t been many waitlist acceptances in general.

That poster basically joined and said they got off the Cornell and Columbia waitlists. That’s their posting history. Perhaps true, perhaps not, but certainly worth a grain of salt if the admissions office is telling people otherwise.

No clue about Cornell. For CEAS, One girl from great Houston area, highly competitive public school, mechanical engineering major got off the waitlist.
