DePaul rule for incoming freshmen:
“No more than 99 hours of AP, CLEP or IB credit will be counted.”

24 4-credit quarter courses would be 96 credits.
AP tests provide you 4, 8, or 12 Depaul credits, depending on the test and the score.

I believe class status by credit hour is as follows:
Freshman (fewer than 44 credit hours)
Sophomore (44 to 87 credit hours)
Junior (88-131 credit hours)
Senior (132-192 credit hours)

I don’t think you could actually graduate in only two years, but coming in with 88 to 96 hours of credits would mean you were basically coming in as a junior. This should surely help put you at the top of the list (for your second year - incoming freshmen are always last I think) for things like picking a dorm room, getting a parking space, and when to register for class, right?

Does anyone know which departments or majors are particularly noteworthy at DePaul? I don’t know much about DePaul.
