Comfortable, easy-care shoes for men’s work-casual wear?

My husband bought cheap ill fitting shoes (his feet are very wide) for years. He ended up paying with terrible bunions and having foot surgery. Please advise your S to buy shoes that fit.

Spouse has worn these Keens for years (they also come in black). They’re good quality and comfortable.

I’ve worked at a shoe store for 11 years. Sometimes the biggest problem is the fit. Had a customer yesterday that had ordered a great pair of running shoes online (not the best pair of shoes for her based on her gait) but they were a full size smaller than she needed. To the original poster try to find if there is local shoe store near you that will fit and measure your husbands foot. I would suggest researching some of the options mentioned and see if any local stores carry them. Good luck with the search.

My husband really likes his Doc Martens (not the combat boots ) They seem pretty heavy to me but he says they are very comfortable.

My husband loves his Mephistos. He has several pairs–loafers and a lace-up pair. The Mephistos are pricey. That being said, unlike women’s shoes, Mephistos last for a very long time.

My husband has wide feet and finds these the best he has ever worn. Not sure if they are to casual for your needs.

Edit to add they come in wide
