Comm. College Winter Transfer

Hello. I am currently attending Oakland Community College and am confused about the whole application process. I am a transfer student and want to apply to CoE (CompE). On the umich website it says that the deadline for winter is october 1st. The problem is that I will not have all of the required classes done by then (physics 1, 2 , calc 3 etc.). So, my question is how can they make a decision on whether to accept me or not if I don’t even have all of the required classes finished? Is the following 2 weeks considered applying early for the winter semester?

Quick list of my stats:
HS Senior
Attending OCC
3.92 OCC gpa
all credits completed except:Phys 1, 2;Calc 3; Diff Eq. (circa 44 credits completed)
PTK Honor society

ECs:
hacking/programming ?

HS Stats:
~3.0 GPA
22 act
Some meaningless awards
Most Improved Varsity Swim team (~ 2 yrs swim team)

I started going full time at OCC when I was 16. Im not sure if this is to my advantage at all… (?)

Do I have a good chance you think?

PS: Im also first generation european if it makes any difference.

Thanks.

If you will have completed all your required classes by the time you intend on starting, then you are good. They will assume you will pass any class you are currently in at the time you apply.

am I too late in the actual application process though? is now the time to start applying everywhere for the winter transfer?

Do you mean winter transfer as in classes starting in 2 weeks, or a year and two weeks?

If you mean 2 weeks, yes, you are far too late. Try for Fall.

I mean a year and 2 weeks, obviously. Would this be too late to apply?

You’re about 8 months too early.
