Commencement speakers

Did I miss the annual thread on commencement speakers? I tried a search but it went back to 2014.

Although not a traditional commencement speaker, Tarentino will be getting an honorary degree from AFI and will give a speech.

Steven Speilberg will speak at Harvard’s graduation (Rashida Jones at Class Day). Matt Damon is speaking at MIT.

Lin Manuel-Miranda is speaking at Penn.

And I found this online…

Sheryl Sandberg will speak at UC Berkeley.

Russell Wilson at UW-Madison.

U-Dub: Sally Jewell, U.S. Secretary of the Interior. She is a Husky.

General Martin Dempsey at Notre Dame.

Les Moonves at Bucknell.

Larry Ellison at USC.

Pomona will have Deborah Bial (founder and president of the Posse Foundation)

Joe Biden and John Boehner will also be at Notre Dame’s commencement to receive an honor.

^ nice bipartisan touch

I believe Obama is speaking at the Air Force Academy.

President Obama will be at Rutgers University’s 250th anniversary graduation ceremony in New Jersey.

^Is NJ a swing state?

Wellesley College will have one of its alums, too:

What a great choice!

Rep. John Lewis is giving the address at Bates. They are also honoring 3 others - one is the author of Still Alice who is an alum.

John Kerry is doing Northeastern commencement speech.

Les Moonves is an alum of Bucknell.

Obama just spoke at Howard University.
