I wrote the 4900 character essay…everything seems fine…but then it seems like expecting something from them since i have described about my past…sort of some miserable stuff, but i am positive throughout…will this make me look like really begging for a place…

If you dont actually “beg for a place” then I think you’ll be okay. Colleges love kids who have to overcome things in their lives, just as long as it isn’t trite (i.e. divorce, depression) <–Unless you can make these stand-out.
I’m sure you’re just stressing over your essay because you have to send it out by tomorrow…it’s probably a lot better than you think. Don’t try to re-write it at the last minute.
Good luck, and try not to worry!

thanks mtgodess,

and another question…about the world limit… i would be uploading a file for the long essay… my essay is 4200 characters without spaces and 5200 with spaces…the latter is beyond the word limit… will this cause a differece?? or will this hampr my essay coz the required word limit is 4900.

thanks.

Check the pdf preview to see if any part of your essay is truncated.

I guess it’s okay to overshoot the limit by a little. Nevertheless, if I were you, I would make sure I don’t overshoot.
