<p>What do you mean commitment date?
UMich EA has deadline on November 1st and notification by Christmas Eve (although they could not finish reviewing all application by that time last year. For EA/RD, students need to decide and pay the deposit by May 1. The last part is pretty much universal except for ED.</p>
