This is kinda related to my last thread, but I am really confused right now since my consultant said they “committed” to a school I am accepted to. Is this a binding promise like ED? If I continue to fight for my dream school’s WL while paying the deposit for the accepted school, will there be consequences?
Other than losing your deposit, no
Pay the deposit at the school where you have an offer.
If you get off the WL at the other school, you will pay a deposit there and tell the first school you will not be attending. You will forfeit your deposit.
You lose your deposit, nothing else. But deposit is usually pretty expensive.
