How would being a committed member in symphony orchestra/wind ensemble/jazz band at a target school look on a resume for investment banking, consulting, or other good business positions? I would imagine it’s not as powerful as being a D-1 athlete, but I just want some of your thoughts. I’ve always been very passionate about playing my instrument, and will pursue a musical group on campus if possible. Some good anecdotes would be nice.
