On the common app…its asks what do u want to add…what do we put? Anything? Should it be an essay or and extracurrilcular…its wierd :).

Second…what hasppens when i sign and submit on the common app.

Third, can i send one application alone and then send the others?? Can I make changes to the application for other schools even though i submitted for one?

1) Could be anything you feel would strengthen your application. Some people need to submit a letter explaining unusual circumstances that have impacted their applications. Some people who feel that their ECs aren’t well-represented on the application submit supplementary materials - for example, you could send a resume if you didn’t have room for everything on the application (!), or if you’re an extraordinary poet you could send samples of your writing.

Of course, none of this is necessary - the majority of applicants don’t submit extra information, and it won’t hurt your application if you don’t. It’s just an option in case you want to clarify or enhance a certain aspect of your application.

2) … it submits to colleges, I believe. Unless you’re talking about something else.

3) Yes. You don’t need to submit to all schools at the same time. In fact, some people prefer to submit to each school individually because if you submit them all at the same time, every school can see where else you’re applying.
