Common App "Additional Comments" tone?

<p>Hey all! </p>

<p>I couldn’t find a thread for this, so I’m sorry if this question has already been asked. But, would it be okay to keep the “addtional comments” section a more light-hearted? I wrote a more serious personal statement, so I thought maybe I can keep the additional comments section less… serious, kind of like I’m speaking to someone as a friend. I thought maybe it’d be kind of boring if my whole application is so formal. What are your guys’ thoughts? </p>

<p>That should be fine. Additional comments are used to add anything that you haven’t mentioned in your application. If you feel it is neccessary to put something more…light-hearted out there, then go for it.</p>
