Does anyone know what time the Common App is open for 2025 applications on August 1st? Is it midnight or sometime in the morning?
I don’t believe they advertise a time - but it’s been known to be available as early as 9am ET on Aug 1.
But I’m curious - why does it matter what the exact time is?
Just wondering to be able to get started.
While advertised as August 1, historically it actually opens a couple of days early.

Last year, it was open by the end of day/evening of July 31.
The site has been under maintenance since Sunday, so I might expect it to be open as soon as it comes back up. Keep checking back.
