Common App Essay 2.0

Hello Everyone!

I posted my common app essay on here a while ago, and was told that it was far too much about the person I’m writing about and not enough about me.

I have since revised (read rewrote) it. Would anyone care to read it?

This is for Yale EA.

sure pm it over! :)

I can- just PM me :)

ill give it a look

I can take a look too, if you want!

sure, PM me. :)

I’m happy to take a look, PM if you want!

Definitely, please PM.

yup. just PM me.

I’ll read it, but send it to me only if you want to.

I want to inform you that I am a fellow Yale’14 applicant though I won’t be applying SCEA (applying ED elsewhere)

PM me if you still need readers.

If you want me to read it, you can PM me.

absolutely, pm

Please PM me! I’m big into writing (newspaper writer/editor, NETC nominee, etc.)

send it over

I had that same problem =P…haha but the advice I got was as followed.

I probably provided 1-2 sentences on how this individual made an impact in my life. What my editor said was that it was sufficient, because anything else I said would probably be BSed or really extreme. If the person you wrote about was an example that you wish to follow, then you don’t have to include that much about yourself I guess if it is obvious.
