Common App Essay Print Review Glitch

<p>When I preview my application, the last word of the second last line of my Common App Essay is always cut off at the second last word. I tried substituting different words in the line to change the length but it just cuts off at the second last letter of a different word in the line. I also tried using Notepad, a different browser, and a different computer and there’s the same problem.</p>

<p>Is anyone else having a similar issue? Do you think it would be okay to submit my application without resolving this glitch?</p>

<p>I haven’t seen your problem. But in helping a student cut and paste from MS Word, I noticed that all the paragraphing disappeared. The last sentence of a paragraph would run together with the first sentence of the next with not even a space between them. We had to go through and re-type the “enter” key to get the paragraph break. In typewriter lingo, it’s called a “hard carriage return” and evidently there’s a coding mismatch between Word and the Common App software.</p>
