Its time for me to get down and dirty picking a common app essay, I’m wondering which topic you think has the most potential:</p>

<p>-How attending a Chicano Youth Conference helped me realize the importance of my Chicano heritage and diversity
-How I derive endless enjoyment from the beauty of nature
-How Bodysurfing has shaped my attitudes as a person
-How Bob Dylan’s “Blonde on Blonde” drastically changed my outlook on life
-How my wacky beach community has shaped who I am</p>

<p>Sorry if some of these ideas are dumb, but they are just that, ideas, so please let me know what you think. Thank you!</p>

<p>I think that the wacky beach community one is especially intriguing, and you could tie it in with bodysurfing, but make sure you have a specific story to telll in the essay. The bob dylan one could be interesting too, but I really like the beach one.</p>
