Describe an… experience… that was meaningful to you and it’s impact, etc…

Well, I knew what I wanted to write about since my sophomore year, and indeed it’s still the topic. Essentially, before high school, I was the “archetypal shy student, taunted by my peers with barely a word in retort” (borrowed from the actual essay lol). Anyway, during my sophomore year, I participated in the “We the People: the Citizen and the Constitution” competition - it’s like a mock congressional hearing, kind of, focusing on the contemporary application of the U.S. Constitution. It really helped me break out of my shell and gain more self-confidence, basically. Then I go on to elaborate on what that experience led me to do throughout my high school career (interning with a state representative, founding a political awareness club, etc.) I thought that it would be a decent topic to write about.

Can anyone comment on my topic, please?

Thanks :)
