<p>Would anyone (preferably anyone NOT applying to school this year, but I’d gladly switch essays with people who aren’t applying to my schools) like to read my first attempt at a Common App Essay? It’s about a group of freshmen I mentor, and I’m really worried about it.</p>

<p>I’m applying to Yale, Columbia, Brown, UVA, W&M, Wash U, Rice, and Pomona.</p>
