On the common app, you are allowed to check ALL the following choices: School Year, School Break, and All Year if you want. I have 2 questions:

  1. Wouldn't checking "all year" include both school year and school break inside? Does that mean that if you click "all year" you should check the other 2 choices too? It confuses me, because wouldn't school year + school break automatically equal all year? After all, any time that you're NOT going to school, you're on a school break.

If you check all year, you don’t need to check the others.
