Common App "How many college credits will you have earned when you transfer to the college where you are applying?"

hi folks,

i’m currently a first-year at a UC looking to transfer out after my sophomore year. looking at common app, does the first question (“How many college credits will you have earned when you transfer to the college where you are applying?”) refer to semester units or quarter units? since i would have earned 100+ units “when i transfer the college i am applying to,” would this be the “60 or greater” option?

Most colleges use the semester system and semester credit units.

If you will have 100+ quarter units of actual college courses*, you will have 66+ semester units, so it will be “60 or greater”.

*AP and IB credit will not necessarily have the same amount of credit at a different college.
