<p>I’ve already sent in my common app for a few schools, but last evening i got a mail from the State of Illinois stating that I am a “State Scholar”, and when i went back to the common app to add that in for my future submissions, the area is grayed out… Is there any way i can add that award onto my application or will i have to email the schools that i am applying to?</p>
<p>You can e-mail or better, fax the award to schools that you have already applied to. Make a second version of common app to add it for future schools. Go the the instructions section on the top left and it will walk you through. You have to go to some new URL to start it, but after this your versions just appear as drop down options on the upper right. To move schools (that you have not yet applied to) from old to new hit ‘remove’ and it will give you a choice of moving to new app or really removing. Anything that you’ve uploaded to your app (essay, additional information) will need to be reloaded to the new version.</p>
