<p>for penn, harvard, yale, princeton, do they use the common app number? The CA number on my counselor and teacher recs are different than the ones for my application because I made multiple versions.</p>

<p>If your name is not common you should be ok. This question came up a lot during the application process. If there are two John Smiths (common name) applying from your school then you should include the common app version of your letter of recommendation(s) in the additional information section.</p>

<p>And there are no people in my school who has the same name as me, it’s not a very common name</p>
